Or let us list your pet
on the Internet, along with HAVA animals.
This is a wonderful option if you're
willing to keep your pet until it can
be adopted. Simply provide us with

Contact information
for you
-

Your certification
that the animal has no history of
aggression toward people
We've
had excellent success with Internet
listing, and while there's no guarantee,
many animals find new homes within
a few weeks.

HAVA
has reformed
after several years
of limited activity.
We're
in the process of building a network
of foster homes to care for unwanted
animals. Our long-term goal is to construct
a no-kill shelter to serve the area from
Westport to Bay Center, Washington.
Because
our current resources are limited, we
must dedicate most of our efforts to
stray, lost, found, or abused animals
and to the shelter-building fund. Unfortunately
we can't take in most owner-surrendered
pets.
|
|
|
|
If none of the above options
will work for you, we can take in a limited number of owner-surrendered
animals and board them, provided you will pay the animal's
expenses while your pet is in our care prior to adoption.
We will advertise the animal for adoption and will take
the responsibility for placing him or her with a carefully
screened home. We will also, to the best of our ability,
work with the animal in any way that will make him or her
more appealing to adopters.
Eventually, we expect
to be able to take a larger number of owner surrenders,
and to absorb more of the costs of caring for them. In
the meantime, we ask your patience and promise to do
our best to help you place your pet in a new "forever home."If
you believe we can help you place your pet, please contact
us at (360) 942-4716 or by email at hava@hava-heart.org
